La Puerta, while not waistline friendly, is by far the best bargain in the Gaslamp! They have a daily happy hour from 3-6 where all drinks (including their extensive tequila and creative cocktail menu) is ALL half off. All their appetizers are half off also. So with a friend you can each have 2 beers, a bowl of fresh guacamole and quite frankly the best quesadilla this city has to offer for $20!
