USA (Syracuse, New York) – Dinosaur Bar-B-Que – By Vanilla & Thyme
If you’re looking for a laid back atmosphere, live blues entertainment, and the best barbeque food in the northeast, then be sure to visit Dinosaur Bar-B-Que and Blues Club in Syracuse, NY. Founded in 1983 by three bikers, Dinosaur now boasts of three New York State locations: Syracuse, New York City, and Rochester.
Recently voted best bar-b-que cuisine by ABC’s Good Morning America, this little joint gives you more than your money’s worth. Their extensive menu has prices everyone can afford. A full rack of pork ribs with four homemade sides is just $24.95 for two. You will not walk away hungry. In fact, you might not want to leave at all.
Best Deal: Big Shot Dinner for Two: $36.95 includes a 14 oz. Mojito Criollo Chicken Steak, NY strip or Texas Rib Eye, 1/2 rack of ribs, choice of four homemade sides (coleslaw, fries, baked beans, etc.), and honey hush cornbread.
Last visit I ordered a Chicken Philly Cheesesteak Platter for $9.95, which included choice of two sides.
Bikers most welcome!

I can vouch for the Dinosaur! Great food, great music. It was my spot when I was a grad student there!
